The Individualized Exercise Program (IEP) is a program that is designed specifically to meet your training goals. There is no cookie cutter approach. The initial consultation takes place in my private studio located in False Creek, Vancouver BC. The IEP consists of three parts; an assessment/evaluation, program design and implementation/walk-through. Depending on your weight training experience and injury history the IEP will vary in length. Following the assessment/evaluation your personalized program will be designed and then you will be lead through the program to ensure you have thorough and clear understanding of the exercises and stretches so that you feel comfortable performing them on your own.
It is recommended that you schedule a follow-up for a re-evaluation to track progress.
1 on 1 personal training includes everything in the IEP with the option of having varied work outs based on your day to day requirements. This allows for more flexibility in the work outs.
If working with a friend or partner appeals to you, I offer partner training. This includes a movement analysis and core function assessment on your initial visit. Based on the findings in the assessments and your weight training experience exercises will be chosen that will be dynamic and challenge both parties. This is the perfect way to keep yourself and your training partner accountable on achieving your health and fitness goals.
Through Holistic Nutrition Guidance & Metabolic Analytics you will find out what foods work best for your metabolism and what current/past lifestyle factors may be interfering with your ability to reach your goals. This will help you learn what gives you the most energy and help to re-establish a homeostatic balance in your body so you look and feel great. Learning to listen to what your body is telling you, is a vital step in achieving your health, fitness and lifestyle goals.
